Election Clerk Job Description

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Election Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, HI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to voters, answering questions and resolving issues related to voting.
  • Gather and process voter registration applications from various public and private agencies.
  • Assist with mailing out ballots and handling the return of absentee ballots.
  • Perform data entry duties and maintain accurate records.
  • Support voters with ballots and voting machines.
  • Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
  • Contribute to the training and recruitment of employees.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Ilocano and Chinese is a plus.
  • Ability to type 35 wpm with accuracy and utilize MS Office.
  • Comfortable working in warm conditions without air conditioning.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
