Role Summary

The Guest Room Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned guest accommodations in a prompt and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform thorough cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms.
  2. Change linens, make beds, and vacuum both occupied and vacant rooms.
  3. Dust all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and appliances within the guest room.
  4. Ensure mirrors and glass surfaces are spotless.
  5. Notify the front desk upon completion of room service to facilitate room availability.
  6. Report any rooms that cannot be serviced within the designated time frame to the supervisor.
  7. Identify and report any safety hazards or required repairs to management.
  8. Respond promptly to requests from guests and management.
  9. Maintain a well-organized linen cart and supply inventory.
  10. Safeguard all issued equipment, keys, and supplies.
  11. Document lost and found items appropriately.
  12. Replace light bulbs as necessary.
  13. Dispose of waste and trash in designated areas.
  14. Restock supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, and bathroom essentials.
  15. Clean guest rooms in accordance with brand standards and time efficiency guidelines.
  16. Participate in team cleaning and self-inspection protocols.
  17. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  18. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maid station and prepare rollaway beds as needed.
  19. Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  20. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
