Your Role in Making a Difference
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), your primary duty is to deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

You will collaborate under the guidance of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities aligned with your competencies.

This role necessitates strong communication and critical thinking abilities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating and planning individualized treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as needed.
- Execute medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as required.
- Manage controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.

- Document nursing encounters using the SOAP format as mandated by policy and participate in mandatory staff meetings and training.

- Communicate essential information to nursing staff, physicians, healthcare unit supervisory personnel, or other staff as necessary.


Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Experience
Preferred minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Must possess and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
