About the Role

Carmeuse is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including electric motors, electric controls, and scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including identifying and resolving issues with electrical distribution systems (12 to 5K volts)
  • Test and monitor electrical systems, equipment, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
  • Monitor work done to ensure adherence to National Electric Code (NEC) requirements
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records, including records necessary for Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA)
  • Analyze and respond safely and appropriately to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service
