HVAC Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our team at Gpac, a leading recruitment company in the Mechanical industry. As an HVAC Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze data to determine material and labor requirements, preparing itemized lists and computing cost factors.
- Prepare estimates for management purposes, including planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, and selecting vendors or subcontractors.
- Conduct special studies to increase cost-effectiveness of projects and consult with clients, vendors, and department managers to discuss and formulate estimates.
- Collaborate with the service and departments on projects as assigned by the Installation Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience as an Estimator for an HVACR contracting or building-related services business.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge and experience in working with mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry.
- Possession of all necessary certificates, licenses, and registration required to perform services in the jurisdiction where work will be conducted.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, and crawling in confined spaces.
