About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our team at Nuckols Plumbing Heating & Cooling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair HVAC-related equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Wire line and low-voltage systems to heating and cooling equipment
  • Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including quality soldering and brazing
  • Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
  • Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job
  • Perform quality refrigeration practices and take pride in work
  • Participate in on-call rotation and be available for emergency calls
  • Work in hot, cold, damp, or cramped environments and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a lead installer
  • Working knowledge of AC systems, heat pumps, furnaces, mini-splits, boilers, UV lights, air cleaners, and all types of duct work
  • Ability to estimate jobs and provide quality customer service
  • Clean background and valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in crawl spaces and attics
  • Most necessary tools and equipment
