Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform final inspections, in-process inspections, and 1st article inspections to evaluate parts against print specifications.
  • Understand and apply inspection methods to support the manufacturing process and personnel.
  • Adhere to the Quality Policy and AS 9100 requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Inspection Supervisor to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Strong comprehension of blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Ability to use inspection tools, such as micrometers, indicators, and comparators.
  • Detailed and accurate in completing paperwork, including inspection reports.
  • Ability to identify dimensional and visual defects.
  • Knowledge of aerospace specifications and requirements, particularly Pratt and Whitney.
