Medical Assistant with Radiologic Experience

At G&A Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant with experience in radiologic procedures to join our team in Houston, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of medical office experience, preferably in an orthopedic setting, and be certified as a Medical Assistant. Additionally, they should have a strong background in radiology, including experience with ionizing radiation and radiographic equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care, including performing routine office procedures, testing, and participating in patient teaching. They will also be responsible for utilizing equipment to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes, following policies, procedures, and protocols.
Key responsibilities will include escorting patients to rooms, working with physicians to document patient information, completing orders for treatment, and prioritizing work to anticipate the needs of physicians. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
