At PSEG, we seek a skilled Construction Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our construction projects and ensure compliance with our quality standards. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying areas for growth within our Project Management Office (PMO).

Job Overview:

The Construction Quality Assurance Manager will develop and implement comprehensive QA processes to measure compliance with our Key Control Validation. This includes annually reviewing PMO and P&C procedures, conducting regular audits, and analyzing data to provide a summary QA/QC report to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA processes to measure compliance with Key Control Validation.
  • Annually review PMO and P&C procedures and revise if necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of project processes and documentation to ensure compliance with QA standards.
  • Analyze data and provide a summary QA/QC report to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Implement QC procedures to monitor and control project activities.
  • Main point of contact for all internal and external audits.
  • Conduct risk analysis and assessments to ensure risk mitigation plans are being implemented.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
  • Provide monthly updates to Equipment Database Long Island and CWIP aging reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Construction.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in analysis, preferably in finance or utility construction.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated personal accountability and excellent organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe and satisfactory driving history.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Utility experience.
  • Construction experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of LIPA's business operations and practices.
  • Knowledge of PMO practices and corporate finance & budget practices.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

Location: Long Island, NY.
