This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Lockheed Martin as a Contract Instructor Pilot for the F-35 program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing instruction and training to pilots on the F-35 simulator and other training systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide instruction and training to pilots on the F-35 simulator and other training systems.
- Develop and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our customers.
- Work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin team to ensure the successful delivery of training programs.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their training needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in F-35 technology and training methods.
- Must have in-depth knowledge as a pilot of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft systems and achieved two ship lead military certification.
- Operational experience with advanced sensor systems such as Night Vision devices, EO/IR targeting systems, Helmet Mounted Cuing, and the latest air-to-surface and air-to-air weapons inventory.
- Prior experience in delivering military pilot academics and simulator training and be familiar with current instructional techniques and delivery methods.
- Excellent leadership traits, strong oral & written communication abilities, solid ability to organize, and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.
- Active secret clearance with investigation or CV within 5 years and be able to qualify for access to Special Access Required (SAR) programs.
- Current or demonstrated experience as an USAF/USN/USMC Instructor Pilot with multi-role fighter experience with two and four ship military certifications.
- Minimum of 1000 hours Fighter flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation multi-role fighter aircraft.
- Former Weapon School, Top Gun, or MAWTS graduate desired.
- Fifth generation Full Mission Simulator (FMS) experience as an operator and/or instructor.
- F-35 flight experience is highly desired.
