Position Overview:
Chipton-Ross is seeking experienced Procurement Agents for a hybrid opportunity.

Work Arrangement:
This role will initially require full onsite presence for the first several weeks, transitioning to a hybrid model with a minimum of three days onsite each week.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and supply chain solutions to meet client needs.
2. Align procurement activities with the company's strategic business objectives.
3. Provide consultation on proposal evaluations and negotiation tactics.
4. Formalize procurement requirements and lead supplier negotiation processes.
5. Prepare and execute all necessary contractual documents.
6. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
7. Manage the termination of contracts as needed.
8. Create and execute plans for organizational and company enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Agent within the Aerospace sector.
- 6-10 years of expertise in drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts to achieve optimal value.
- Extensive experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government clients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both direct and indirect costs to enhance competitiveness.
- Over 6 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Previous experience with clients in a similar capacity.
- Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFAR requirements.
- Experience with procurement systems such as Network Procurement (NWP) or SAP (4HANA).
- Proven track record in negotiating non-competitive government procurements exceeding TINA thresholds.

Education Requirements:
- An accredited Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a High School Diploma/GED is required.

Travel Requirements:
- Potential for minimal domestic travel, less than 10%.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, first shift hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

- The selected candidate must successfully complete a credit check as part of the hiring process.
