Job Title: Network Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Thinkbyte Consulting Inc. (E-Verified) is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Network Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd-level support for Cisco phone and Contact Center Express issues
  • Work on daily move, add, and changes requests
  • Implement, integrate, maintain, and secure cloud infrastructure using SDN
  • Participate in performance monitoring and tuning of network systems
  • Participate in engineering, design, and project management of network systems projects
  • Develop and maintain diagrams documenting company networks
  • Participate in technology evaluation and selection processes
  • Effectively communicate with clients, peers, and supervision
  • Work in cooperation with IT Security to ensure compliance with Enterprise Security standards

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical network support
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Participation in continuing education courses and/or technical seminars is helpful

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with programming and/or scripting
  • Automation scripting skills using tools like Ansible, Python, and Powershell
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, Cisco Communications Callmanager, and Unity Connection Voicemail
