About the Role

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the CV Neuro ICU department. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly
  • Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual CV Neuro ICU patients
  • Promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
  • 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
