Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical ICU team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to critically ill patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and other life-sustaining therapies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, laboratory results, and other relevant data, to identify potential complications and develop strategies to prevent or manage them.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide other treatments as ordered by the physician, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • Current ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
