Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aviation Security Specialist to join our team at Elite Team Logistics. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Security
    • Operate hand-held metal detectors and electronic walk-through metal detectors to screen passengers and luggage for prohibited items.
    • Perform visual searches of bags, briefcases, and other carry-on items for prohibited items.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Interact and communicate with the public, including those with limited or nonspeaking English proficiency, and individuals who may be confrontational and/or argumentative.
    • Respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • Work effectively with fellow team members to ensure seamless security operations.
    • Communicate effectively with diverse people using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents and other relevant information.
    • Report all security incidents, including government tests, real weapons, injuries, and other major incidents, to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to read and write as part of the identification verification of all passengers.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people.
    • Ability to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout the shift (2-4 hours at a time).
  • Certifications and Clearances
    • Pass background check and DOT drug screening.
    • Valid Driver's License or reliable transportation to and from the job.
