Client Care Manager

**About the Role**
The Direct Support Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of assigned locations. This position is responsible for providing direct care to clients, scheduling, training, and supervising staff who provide similar support. The manager oversees planning and participation in social events and activities, ensuring individuals receive adequate care during medical appointments. Additionally, they are responsible for supervising site cleanliness and grocery shopping for household supplies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise Lead and Direct Support Professionals, including coaching, development, and performance management, to ensure quality client care in compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
- Schedule employee shifts in Brittco at least two weeks in advance, with authority to approve or deny shift changes or swaps.
- Support recruiting and onboarding processes for new team members.
- Attend all client meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect individual rights.
**Requirements**
- Minimum one year of Developmental Disabilities experience; two years preferred.
- Minimum six months of Developmental Disabilities supervisory or operations experience; one year preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with less than six points.
- Medication Administration Certification, if applicable.
**Work Environment**
Work is performed primarily in residential, vehicle, and outdoor settings, in various weather conditions, including temperature extremes, during day and night shifts. Work often takes place in emergency and stressful situations.
