**Job Title:** Personal Support Worker

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Prepare meals and snacks to promote healthy eating habits and social interaction.
  • Engage in conversations and activities that stimulate mental and emotional well-being.
  • Accompany clients on outings and errands to ensure access to essential services.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a caregiver or personal support worker is preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for client visits.
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping tasks and cooking skills is essential for maintaining a comfortable living space.
  • The ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines is crucial for preventing accidents and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform daily tasks is required.
  • A compassionate and respectful approach is essential for providing empathetic care and support.
