Company Overview
KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, is a prominent network of free, open enrollment, college preparatory public schools committed to equipping students in underserved communities for success in both higher education and life. With 255 KIPP schools nationwide and in the District of Columbia, we serve over 100,000 students, with KIPP students graduating at three times the national average for low-income students.
KIPP Columbus, established in 2008, currently educates nearly 2,000 students from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our mission is to create a school system where students cultivate the intellectual, academic, and social skills necessary to navigate and address real-world challenges.
Recognized as one of the top five schools in Ohio for academic growth, KIPP Columbus has achieved remarkable success, with 100% of our second graduating class accepted into college, collectively earning over $20 million in merit scholarships.
In addition to our academic focus, KIPP Columbus collaborates with over 100 community organizations to offer extracurricular activities, health and wellness services, and more, enriching the lives of our students and their families.
