Position Details
The Academic Support Specialist will engage directly with students in various educational environments, focusing on providing individualized instruction and support.
Compensation: $32.80/hr*
*Salary is influenced by relevant experience, certifications, educational background, and proficiency in a second language.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted small group and individual instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, and other subjects as necessary.
- Maintain ongoing communication regarding student progress with parents, educators, and relevant professionals through progress reports and Individual Education Plans.
- Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Qualifications:
- A valid Special Education credential and Ohio Department of Education License.
- Successful completion of a background check through BCI/FBI.
- Current TB test (within the last 12 months).
- Valid automobile insurance with appropriate coverage for work-related travel.
Work Environment:
- Varied settings, including classrooms, clinics, and home environments.
- Noise levels and physical demands may vary.
