Role Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic sales professional who is passionate about educational solutions and committed to empowering every student to reach their full potential. The Educational Solutions Sales Specialist will cultivate strong partnerships with educators to expand our business in supplemental educational resources and meet revenue objectives in Ohio and Michigan. The ideal candidate will possess self-motivation, ambition, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Oversee all phases of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
  • Employ various lead generation techniques, including cold-calling and networking, to identify new business opportunities.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and their competitive landscape.
  • Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with team members across the organization.
  • Manage a sales pipeline effectively to achieve revenue goals.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach in developing strategic partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 65% of the time.

  • Begin initial prospecting efforts.

First Year Objectives:

  • Work diligently towards achieving your sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling educational solutions to K-12 institutions.
  • Proven knowledge of the K-12 sales cycle and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • A customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
  • Experience in strategic territory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Preference for candidates with established industry relationships.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
