Job Summary
This per diem/on call position is a day shift opportunity working with the elderly population. As a Community Care RN, you will provide and supervise professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients' optimal health and independence.
- Provide care based in the nursing process and consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct home visits and provide nursing care in a variety of settings, including clinics and congregate living ministries.
Requirements
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing.
- 1 year - Home health RN experience.
