We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Nice North America. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center's machinery, equipment, and physical structures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and repair various building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, to ensure all systems are operational and up to code.
- Oversee and execute repairs and maintenance of the physical structure of our offices, ensuring a safe and functional work environment.
- Assist in the relocation of office furniture and equipment as needed, ensuring efficient and careful handling of items.
- Address and resolve facilities-related emergencies promptly to minimize disruption and maintain safety.
- Adhere to documented procedures for receiving and processing non-inventory purchase orders, maintaining accurate records and inventory control.
- Operate a sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack as needed.
- Execute all tasks in accordance with established procedures, methods, and working requirements to ensure consistency and quality.
- Apply and uphold department policies and standards, contributing to a structured and compliant maintenance operation.
- Adhere to OSHA standards and guidelines when completing work.
- Complete OSHA training as required.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual PMs as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the shop and surrounding areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or building maintenance is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels from machinery, equipment, and construction activities. Hearing protection may be required in certain areas. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with indoor tasks including maintenance of office facilities and equipment, and outdoor tasks involving handling external structures or equipment.
