Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist professional nursing personnel in providing direct and indirect patient care.
- Perform basic technical skills, including CPR, vital sign measurement, and fluid intake/output recording.
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide patients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
- Maintain unit supplies and document patient care data.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
- Graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
This role requires the ability to lift patients and equipment, as well as work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
