Job Title: Attending Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Attending Psychiatrist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, formulations, and direct clinical care to patients in various settings, including crisis, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, consults, community, and outreach.
  • Consult with various teams regarding the assessment, management, and disposition of patients with major medical and co-occurring psychiatric problems.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with psychiatric disorders, including pharmacological treatment and continued care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, and learners to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
  • Support the clinical and administrative operations of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within 36 months
  • Medical License in Pennsylvania State Licensing Board
  • DEA License in Pennsylvania State Licensing Board (preferred)
