Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Attending Psychiatrist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing exceptional psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, formulations, and direct clinical care in various settings, including crisis, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, consults, community, and outreach.
  • Consult with various teams regarding the assessment, management, and disposition of patients with major medical and co-occurring psychiatric problems.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including pharmacological treatment and continued care of patients.
  • Support the clinical and administrative operations of the department, including quality initiatives and budgetary goals.
  • Provide supervision and teaching for residents, medical students, and other specialties requiring psychiatry training.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within 36 months.
  • Medical License in Pennsylvania State Licensing Board upon hire.
  • DEA License in Pennsylvania State Licensing Board upon hire (preferred).
