Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor, and/or Practice/Office Manager. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can recognize patient needs and symptoms in advance, providing care that meets the highest standards of the nursing profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care as directed by the provider, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Proactively plans for patient care across the care continuum, utilizing pre-visit planning processes to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Contributes to the financial viability of the organization through service quality and clinical excellence.
  • Participates in data collection and poses relevant clinical questions to advance evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborates with the patient, significant others, and/or family to promote a comfortable and safe environment for care delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
  • Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous healthcare experience, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient setting.
