Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist during treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient care experience.
  • Coordinate tests and follow-up care, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Assist with patient and family education, promoting health literacy and empowering individuals to take control of their well-being.
  • Demonstrate competency and skills to serve patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric populations.
  • Participate in shared decision-making groups and committees, contributing to evidence-based practice and performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
  • Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous healthcare experience, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient setting.
