Serplus Technology LLC is in search of a Laboratory Research Specialist to engage in part-time or full-time research activities for a designated duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct purification and analytical procedures for proteins and reagents utilizing standard column chromatography techniques.
- Perform enzyme assays, ELISA-based tests, SDS-PAGE, 2-D gel electrophoresis, and western blotting.
- Experience in generating slides from frozen tissue sections and conducting immunohistochemistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Utilize analytical software such as Graphpad Prism, Excel, and MS Word for data presentation and analysis.
- Generate quality control data for products and oversee an expanding inventory.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with colleagues to pinpoint research requirements.
- Translate intricate data into clear textual and visual formats.
- Summarize research findings into presentations, reports, and publications.
- Prior experience with protein protease inhibitors is beneficial.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Familiarity with essential research methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
