Job Title: Image Optimization Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Image Optimization Engineer to join our team at DeepSight Technology Inc. in St. Louis, MO, or Santa Clara, CA. As a key member of our design and development process, you will be responsible for leading and driving innovation projects and product development for our new ultrasound imaging platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive innovation projects and product development for ultrasound imaging.
  • Be deeply involved in the idea-to-market design life cycle of ultrasound imaging features and system technologies.
  • Focus on key aspects of ultrasound systems engineering, including imaging feature development, image optimization, image quality, and clinical evaluation.
Requirements:
  • M.S. in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering with 7+ years of industry experience in medical imaging product development.
  • Expertise in ultrasound transducer imaging optimization and clinical evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience using MATLAB/Python for fast prototyping; C/C++ programming.
  • Demonstrated technical abilities in coordinating the development efforts of a highly technical group.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Willing to relocate to either the St. Louis, MO or Santa Clara, CA areas.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PhD in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering with a dissertation topic related to ultrasound imaging or therapy.
  • Direct experience in R&D ultrasound image optimization and system development for general imaging applications.
