The School of Sport Sciences at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-Time Adjunct Faculty positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in various areas of sport sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in coaching and performance science, physical education and kinesiology, sport, exercise and performance psychology, and sport management.
- Develop and implement effective teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Stay current with developments in the field of sport sciences and incorporate new knowledge into teaching practices.
- Master's or doctoral degree in one or more of the course content areas.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse students and colleagues.
