Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a talented Aerospace Electrical Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our dedicated team. This role involves collaboration within a close-knit group of professionals focused on innovative aerospace solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and related aerospace products.
  • Fabricate and assemble electrical harnesses, RF cables, and circuit board assemblies.
  • Conduct installation of avionics modules and ensure proper integration into UAV airframes.
  • Modify and repair electrical harness units and assemblies as needed.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of avionics modules to meet specified standards.
  • Set up and operate testing equipment in outdoor environments for data collection.
  • Document procedures, update Bills of Materials (BOMs), and maintain accurate records of all work-related tools and equipment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with UAV systems and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design purposes.
  • Strong soldering skills for circuit and harness assembly.
