Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at a busy Pediatrics clinic in the Tacoma area.

This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with a provider, rooming patients, taking vitals, giving injections, and calling in prescription refills. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is a 40-hour per week position, working 10-hour days with various schedules throughout the week. The role includes working approximately 1 Saturday or Sunday (8 am - 1 pm) every 6-8 weeks. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $23-35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Room patients for appointments, take vital signs, and administer injections as needed
  2. Assist with prescription refills and communicate effectively with providers and patients
  3. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, providing exceptional patient care and service
Requirements and Qualifications
