UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a part-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedics or a surgical specialty and be able to perform orthopedic outpatient surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Part-time .6 FTE (24 hours per week); plus, practice and hospital call coverage
- Outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Inpatient hospital rounding and consultations
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
- Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Illinois nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in good standing
- Certified as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant by an approved certifying organization
- Prescriptive authority, Illinois Controlled Substance, DEA certification
- Current CPR certification
