A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and practical experience in a manufacturing setting are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • PLC Programming: Design, test, and deploy PLC programs for various automation tasks within the manufacturing facility.
  • Electrical Distribution: Create, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical distribution networks to guarantee efficient and safe operations.
  • Instrumentation: Choose, install, and calibrate a variety of instrumentation utilized in manufacturing processes, ensuring precise and dependable measurements.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance on control systems and instrumentation to avert downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects associated with control systems and instrumentation, from initial concept through to implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical assistance and training to plant staff regarding the operation and upkeep of control systems and instrumentation.
  • Documentation: Generate comprehensive documentation for control systems, electrical distribution systems, and instrumentation, including schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all systems and processes adhere to applicable safety standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience in PLC programming.
  • Experience with electrical distribution systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in instrumentation, including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools utilized in control systems engineering.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in PLC programming, electrical systems, or instrumentation are advantageous.
