Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Controls and Instrumentation Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, electrical distribution within a manufacturing plant, and extensive instrumentation experience. This role requires a four-year degree in a relevant field and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities 
PLC Programming: Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for various automation processes within the manufacturing plant.
Electrical Distribution: Design, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Instrumentation: Select, install, and calibrate various types of instrumentation used in manufacturing processes, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance on control systems and instrumentation to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to control systems and instrumentation, from conception through implementation and maintenance.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on the operation and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation for control systems, electrical distribution systems, and instrumentation, including schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in PLC programming.
Experience with electrical distribution systems within a manufacturing plant.
Proficiency in instrumentation, including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in relevant software and tools used in control systems engineering.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in PLC programming, electrical systems, or instrumentation are a plus.
