As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services in behavioral health programs, including assessment and care of clients as part of the treatment plan.
  • Evaluate medication effectiveness and other health care needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide emotional support, compassion, and de-escalation techniques to patients and their families.
  • Perform telephonic triage and respond to callers with varying levels of risk and distress.
  • Administer medication training and support to patients and their families.
  • Link patients to community resources and services to support their recovery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • One year of behavioral health nursing experience or other related experience.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon.
  • Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) Qualified Mental Health Associate certification (QMHA) or registration within 90 days of hire.
