We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a member of our psychiatric unit, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care to positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice. Your strong clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills will be essential in following company policies, including those related to confidentiality. You will collaborate with your healthcare team to report critical information or changes in patient condition, provide comfort and prevent suffering, and document effectively and timely according to organizational policy. Requirements:
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
  • Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
