We are a growing company in Springfield, MO, seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer.

  • This is a Day Shift position, working Monday - Friday.
  • The salary for this role is estimated to be $75,000-$85,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing air-moving systems using CAD software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop air-moving systems using CAD software and other engineering tools to meet project goals.
  • Manage and coordinate the full product development process, ensuring designs are completed on time and meet technical specifications.
  • Contribute to product strategy, research, development, and manufacturing efforts for new or updated equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with teams from Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Operations to align product designs with customer needs and market demands.
  • Continuously monitor the progress of products through their life cycle to ensure objectives are achieved effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in product development utilizing CAD software.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar software.
  • Sheet Metal Fabrication experience is required.
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience is required.
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience is preferred but not required.
