About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dockhand to join our team at Suntex Marinas. As a Dockhand, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our marina facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Dock masters and other Dock hands in marina-related duties, including securing boats to docks, connecting and monitoring utility services, and performing routine cleaning duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, expediting requests from vessels and ensuring a positive experience for guests.
  • Operate motor and water vehicles, as well as other mechanized equipment, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to established quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with refueling vessels, ensuring safe fueling procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues, members, guests, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external customers.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
