At Core Group Resources, we are seeking a highly skilled Multicraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operation of machinery and production processes within our facility. This includes performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, and overseeing general facility upkeep.

We are offering a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and fix electrical issues, including control systems, wiring, and circuit boards.
  • Assist with the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to existing equipment to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Manage facility upkeep, including moving furniture, setting up workspaces, and rearranging layouts as needed.
  • Perform painting and touch-up work to maintain a clean and professional environment.
  • Oversee snow removal and ice management during winter months to ensure safe access and operation.
  • Address general facility maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs, plumbing issues, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
