Digital Workplace solutions Specialist
Immediate opening - Direct Client - Onsite Position - Ohio
Responsibilities:
● Business Analysis :
○ Conduct thorough assessments to understand current challenges, business users requirements and business continuity risk.
○ Document current state processes and identify areas for improvement using Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tools.
○ Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define future state solutions that optimize workflows and user experience.
○ Develop user stories, user acceptance criteria, and detailed project plans.
○ Facilitate innovation and introduction of new technologies through proof of concepts and evaluation framework.
● Project Management :
○ Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
○ Drive project execution from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to scope and deadlines.
○ Develop cost estimates, benefits, IRR, and manage detailed project financials.
○ Manage project risks and dependencies effectively.
○ Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
○ Track project progress and report on key metrics.
○ Develop presentations on business impact, business case, status updates etc.
● Expertise:
○ Possess a strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Power Apps Platform (optional, but a plus), intune, Entra, Azure AD, Security Suite, and related services.
○ Assessment of current IT infrastructure and readiness for migration.
○ Planning and strategy development for M365 migration.
○ Data migration from existing systems to M365.
○ Configuration, setup, and implementation of M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online,Teams, Intune, Defender for email, and other relevant applications.
○ Implementation of Office 365 application suite.
○ Organizational Change Management to facilitate user adaptation to ensure project success.
○ Proper security and governance best practices.
○ Post-migration support and maintenance.
● Communication & Collaboration
○ Collaborate effectively with internal teams, and vendors.
○ Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
○ Develop and deliver impactful training materials for end-users.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
● Minimum 8+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 implementation and administration.
● Proven experience in Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies.
● Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) is a plus.
● Ability to work individually in a self-directed manner and as part of a team and to make sound judgments without on-site supervision, as necessary
