Nutrition Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will provide safe and effective family-centered nutritional care to patients from newborn to adult with a variety of diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews diagnosis and implements nutritional care plans for patients using general dietetic standards and regulations.
- Provides education and guidance to patients, family, caregivers, and staff on diet, feeding regimen, or other nutritional information.
- Collaborates with the medical team to provide optimal nutrition care and identifies nutrition-related issues.
- Monitors patients' progress and documents all pertinent nutrition information in patient medical records.
- Attends nutritional case studies, department in-service, and other training opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) - Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board.
- REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
