Job Summary:
The Greater Nebraska Schools Hiring Consortium is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students in our district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions to students, teachers, and parents to promote academic success and social-emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with special needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students, families, and staff as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school psychology.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with students, teachers, and families in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
