Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy to patients in their homes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress, and provide regular updates to patients and their families.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and their families on speech and language disorders, treatment options, and strategies for improving communication.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York State and certification in speech-language pathology.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation with adult speech/language impairment populations.
- Education: Master's degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
Catholic Health Service offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $125,000 per year, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
