Career Opportunity:

Catholic Health Service is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive care to patients throughout Long Island.

This position will cover Nassau County and part of Queens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, develop, and provide a home health plan of care for speech language pathology.
  • Identify patient needs for other disciplines and services.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the plan of care with all other disciplines and physicians for an assigned caseload.
  • Instruct the patient or responsible caregiver on the projected care plan and expected outcomes as directed by the physician's treatment plan.
  • Detailed documentation of visits in the EMR system.

Requirements:

  • Licensed and current registration to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York State.
  • Minimum of one year post-licensure experience in rehabilitation with adult speech/language impairment populations.
  • Good computer skills - Electronic Medical Record experience required.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is USD $90,000.00 to USD $105,000.00 per year.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
