Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Health Care Specialist. As a key member of our home health care team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance with equipment and performing setup of oxygen equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient education and technical assistance with equipment setup
• Perform patient assessments and maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques
• Follow applicable policies and procedures regarding safety and regulatory guidelines
• Represent the company through professional personal appearance and patient care activities
• Facilitate prescription collection and maintain patient records
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Level 1 - Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home health care setting
• Level 2 - Minimum of two years experience in home health care
• Level 3 - Minimum of three years experience in home health care and may be involved in training other Health Care Specialists
• Must have excellent human relations skills and be computer literate
• Must be certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state and/or national board governing clinical practice
