Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Neurosurgery Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room flow.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in neurosurgery.
Requirements
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous Neuro OR experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
