Supervising Nurse, NHVP, Bureau of Maternal, Infant, and Reproductive Health

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Nurse to join our team at the Bureau of Maternal, Infant, and Reproductive Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of nurses, providing training and evaluation, and ensuring the implementation of the NFHV home visiting program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train nursing staff in the NFHV program
- Develop and implement training protocols and materials
- Track visiting rates and nurse fidelity to the home visiting protocol
- Provide group and reflective supervision to nursing staff
- Collaborate with the program team to identify and engage referral partners and other agencies
- Oversee PS and OTPS line items related to nursing needs
Requirements:
- Valid New York state license as a Registered Nurse
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited college and a master's degree in Nursing, Public Health or a related field
- Four years of recent experience in public health or hospital nursing or a related field, with at least 18 months in an administrative, managerial, executive, consultative or educational capacity
