Suffield Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant to join our team.

This part-time position offers flexibility with both day and evening hours available. Prior experience is beneficial but not required for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, test results, and other relevant information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, handling patient check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring accurate maintenance of patient medical records.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations and provide support to practitioners during medical procedures and other patient care activities.
  • Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
  • Administer medications to patients as directed by physicians.
