Job Description

As a Project Manager at RMA Companies, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are tracked to all project metrics such as schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client needs. You will manage assigned construction projects, serve as the primary contact with owners/clients, and foster a positive relationship with all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and monitor cost estimates, prime contracts, schedules, subcontracts, change orders, RFI's, and process submittals.
  • Prioritize requests and manage projects to meet target delivery dates.
  • Recognize and address technical issues and effectively manage and lead a team.
  • Resolve field quality issues with the owner, architect, and subcontractors.
  • Process owner and subcontractor monthly billings.
  • Coordinate total cost estimates for a particular bid/project as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field is desired; a combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area required, 10+ preferred.
  • Work experience in all disciplines of construction (civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
